This was a large disk. I installed a 2 TB HD in my HTPC system bus that is connected to my LG LCD. I have to reinstall all my software and had to be up and running in no time. I noticed a significant increase in read / write speeds than the previous model my WD HD (also 7200 rpm). I only drive for one or two months, so that the life of the disc is still a problem, but I have no problems or strange clicking and popping of heat from the disk. <br/>
The best feature of the disc, the capacity substantially. I filled my 500 GB hard drive, and saw a large disk replaced. I have to participate in these 2 TB to my needs and decided to splurge, and I do not regret the decision.

Pro – I love the keyboard. It 'my first keyboard typing wave and I'm much more comfortable than the standard keyboard straight edges. The area of the wrist support has a very nice, almost silky texture. The keys have a soft touch, smooth. There are a lot of features I have not yet started, and probably not too much.

Structurally, it feels very solid. The brace does not swing back at all.

With – the mouse sucks. And 'tight, so my ringStay away from the crowded side, but the back-screen key is located directly below where the finger rests naturally positioned. When you click a button or move the mouse, the hand contracts naturally a bit ', and that is all it takes to accidentally hit the back button is. I'm always clearing and reloading error pages, because of this. (I'm writing this review as Word and copy-paste the page to Amazon, since it can not get through typing without accidentally hitting the backpage-key).

Over-all, except for the mouse, I would give five stars. The fact, however, I need to go, and this rubbish mouse shell out money for a great brand is a useful contrast.

Let me first a little 'history. I'm a computer nut for about 25 years. I started to offer programs based on the original Commodore PET in primary school. Since then I have a compulsion to each irresitable "next big computer purchase offer" immediately. I have the TRS-80, Atari, Amiga, apples and, of course, been many ubiquitous PC. "

I had been away from Apple because the possession of a classic color in 1993 and 2001. Since then, my new Apple CubeEye, and the beta version of OS X. I like the FreeBSD operating system, and was very excited to run a Unix distribution on a consumer desktop well integrated. Oh, I must admit that I was disappointed. The original was very slow OSX for any suitable employment. Even worse, there was no support for me to do simple tasks, "what do you mean I can not play DVD and not my printer has support ?!?!" Still do, I decided to try to stick with it. I sold the Cube and bought a DP-533Studio Display and 17. Best performance but still many problems that were annoying to do things a breeze on a living room PC. I sold the PS 533, and bought two PCs over the next two years.

My last system was an AMD XP 2800 +, DVD-R, 1 GB of RAM and a 19 "LCD. Expected return are satisfactory for three things: (1) the system was too strong for my home office, ( 2) It 'been almost impossible for a decent DVD test despite a number of software packages (I have to create twoyears daughter and son on the new road – many of the video), and (3) I hate Windows. The system requires constant optimization and the search for margins.

Finally I stopped selling the PC and bought a 20 "iMac. Unlike my experience two years ago, I am glad to report That Apple was right. The system works as advertised. The machine is quiet, well-designed and beautiful ( had to say was that in any discussion on a Mac). As a bonus, the system with a suite of applications coveringalmost every common task that often is much more fluid then their Windows counterparts. (Quicken, AppleWorks, iTunes, iPhoto, IETC …), the enormous collection of open-source UNIX-based add free and you'll notice you need to buy additional software very little.

While I am concerned about the speed of a G4 1.25 GHz against my PC was Moloch, this was not justified. I'm sure the pure processing speed, my new Mac is not so fast. However, I have no complaints about the speed andVideo response to treatment, the development of Java applications in NetBeans, or play a game. The large screen makes it easy to juggle too many windows and Safari offers the best web browsing experience I've ever seen. I would recommend that your iMac 160GB hard drive and 512 MB of RAM for optimal performance.

I have the 20 "iMac to find a nice overall computing experience possible. A limitation – I want to make sure that your important applications andPeripherals operating with the machine. There are still some shortcomings in hardware support, but not nearly what it was two years ago. Check out Apple's excellent website for more information. If the 20 "iMac fits the bill to that effect, go for it, is an excellent machine.

I do not have as much fun with the machine since my days with an Atari 800 in the early '80s. Apple is totally correct, which should look like a computer.

I never heard or even used a Mac until a few months ago. I decided to get one just for the sake of it. The man, a car!

OS X is awesome. I am a geek and Linux for years, so switching to a Mac is not a big problem. * Nix I can still play if I want, but the interface of OS X is really something else. It 'justSense. I do not want to install a program more? Drag it to the trash. None of the "Add / Remove Programs" junk ".

I have no problems playing with any order of video editing. The CPU is more than capable of any task.

I am also very impressed with the technical support of Apple. The hard drive on my shit after 60 days. I called Apple and the guy on the phone walked me through some tests. He was very helpful and a total joy to be treated. The best part was that allThey sent a guy to my house to repair the unit. I did not have to take it anywhere or send it anywhere.

Never have a PC if it is a Linux system. And my client machine will always Macs.

Great monitor, weak CPU – –
This monitor is a work of art. The CPU is two years from the date. Buy instead of a G5 2GHz and 20 "LCD. This system is obsolete.

This is my first Mac of any kind that I had high expectations, especially since the price.
So I was a bit 'disappointed to see that the screen was a part Lop. Just a little ', but very suggestive. There was also a blocked pixel.
I decided with it (no choice in the case of live stuck pixels) and soon learned to ignore it and focus on the good points.
Panther is a pleasure to use after using Windows. I immediately began to wonder why anyone would buy a computer with WindowsMachine. Panther is so smooth, and the iLife applications are all maintain Apple, they were. Broadband connection is easy via the Ethernet buillt.
The 20-inch screen was wrong-ness, and set aside more pixels worth only. All other screens seem small to me.
